Our service engineers are always only a telephone call away, whether the issue relates to maintenance, system tuning or fault diagnosis. In most cases we will have installed an in-house telephone modem service which allows immediate access and analysis of any plant.

Our teams combine all the skills necessary to progress a programme of works through to commissioning, including contract management, electrical and mechanical design, full motor control centre drawings, control engineering, estimating, procurement and management of all aspects of the building services package.

The Team for the Job

On award of contract, a Standard Control Systems project team is assigned on the basis of both experience and expertise. Such a team combines all the skills necessary to progress a programme of works through to commissioning. Its tasks include design of integrated motor control centres, controls selection and procurement, and of course interfacing with other building services disciplines. Specialist applications engineers are on hand to complete the task force as the team works systematically through to client handover and training.

System Validation

At the commissioning and handover stage, the functioning of each system element is tested, validated and recorded. At completion, project records including wiring schedules, control descriptions, strategy and system drawings are compiled to form the backbone of a sites operation and maintenance manual, an invaluable reference for the future user. Standard Control Systems has considerable experience of validating systems to aid 21 CFR Part II compliance, from the compilation of an FDS, HDS, SDS, project specific quality plans, through execution of IQ and OQ protocols to full training & the presentation of operation and maintenance manuals in CD format.

Standard Control Systems offer a full turnkey service including supply of the main controls systems peripheral equipment such as valves, actuators, sensors and all other monitoring devices. We also design and manufacture the motor control centres and control panels.
